Meet Dr Bloome

Dr. Wadler-Bloome graduated from the Kinkaid School in 1992 and from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996 as a Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She returned to Houston to attend the University of Texas Dental Branch and graduated second in her class. Dr. Wadler-Bloome practiced general dentistry in the beautiful state of New Mexico before later participating in a residency program and receiving her Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.

Dr. Wadler-Bloome started working at her father’s office assisting and learning the ropes when she was in Middle School! From a very young age, Dr. Wadler-Bloome learned the importance of a healthy smile, and she has made it her priority to help others increase both their dental health and self-confidence. She strives to treat each one of her patients with kindness and the highest quality of care.

Dr. Wadler-Bloome stays current with new technology and advancements in the field of orthodontics by being an active member of several industry associations. This allows her to participate in continuing education and keep in contact with other esteemed doctors in the field.

Dr. Wadler-Bloome feels that it is important to be an active member of her community, and she participates in numerous organizations on both a local and national scale. She also believes it is essential to educate teachers, parents, and children, so she regularly gives presentations about dental health and awareness to multiple elementary schools in the Houston area.

When she’s away from the practice, Dr. Wadler- Bloome and her husband, Dr. David Bloome, enjoy spending time with their children Jackson, Ashley, and Connor. Jackson plays football and baseball and Ashley is into dancing and tennis. Connor is going to follow in his brother’s footsteps and be an athlete too! Whatever big brother is doing…little brother wants to do the same. The family enjoys outdoor activities like swimming and going to the park. One of these days, Melissa has going to Europe with her husband on the bucket list….One of these days!
